This is a multi-part message in MIME format. - ------=_NextPart_000_0045_01C1FB5E.3C977120 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Don't know what it proves, but....may be of interest to you. Downloaded the daily screen today. Thought it might yield a gem or two; it ranks companies with AVG ROE for the past three years >=17%. While the list met various CANSLIM criteria (RS>=80, SMR = A, Group RS at least B-, Price>=$15, Avg Vol>=100,000, all within 15% of 52-wk high), it is interesting to discover how dominate institutions are herein. I ran the CS Evaluator on each of the 32 stocks, and only two score 8 or better (UOPX and AXL); oddly enough, however, those two have the lowest institutional sponsorship, 16% and 37% respectively! What's more interesting...the average sponsorship for the whole list is a miserable 74.8%. So I guess this tells us two things. A) Institutions place a lot of weight on ROE; B) This screen is a waste of time for CANSLIMers!
