Agree with you completely Ernie and the reason for my wording "...than =
the forward estimates or past fundamentals alone."
To be a pure technician, you have to slip into short term mode. In =
intermediate term mode both technicals and fundamentals matter and =
CANSLIM is decidedly intermediate term.

Tom,
=20
I took a quick glance at ANFI in the old version of DGO last night and =
it showed the 1% estimates you originally sited. This morning it shows =
the new numbers. Just goes to show how dramatically earnings estimates =
can change and I think also supports the notion that the technicals more =

The difference is in which version of DGO you are using, the new =
version has
the +46%, 2.00 est for 2002 and -6%, 1.86 for 2003.
I realize they are no longer supporting version 4.0 after May, very
surprised that they would abandon the data quality already. I am =
reporting
it for verification as to which version has correct data.

Bill, and Tom,
I got some thing else for ANFI
2002 2.00 est. +46%
2003 1.83 est -7%
And I have Ver 4
for the last Q .72 vs .26 =3D +177%
From DGO, but when I went to the book, page 42 , it had what Tom had =
noted
so why is there such difference, very odd, what do you guy's think now

Tom,
Re ANFI - I'm confused. I read the earnings forecast from DGO as +46 =
for
2002 and -8 for 2003. Am I reading the data boxes wrong?
Thanks,
Bill King
