This is a multi-part message in MIME format. - ------=_NextPart_000_0015_01C1FFF0.6C624CE0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit MessageDuke, I, too, am starting to warm and considering dipping back into the market more. Couple things: 1. where do your numbers come from. DGO shows funds at 37, banks at 10, and mgmt at 5%. Where did your 99% come from? 2. earnings due in a couple days. Any hint of what they're likely to report? Personally. I'd rather buy after and not right before earnings come out. Not exactly a WON rule, but bad experience makes me cautious. - -- Mona -----Original Message----- From: owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com [mailto:owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Duke Miller Sent: Monday, May 20, 2002 7:55 AM To: CANSLIM Subject: [CANSLIM] HOTT I'm warming up to this market, and I'm considering HOTT (No pun intended, Katherine, I promise. This is for real. I'm thinking of buying.) On my own screen this stock merits 29 out of a total 34 points. RS 73 EPS 95 ROE 21% Debt 0 Acc/Dis B+ SMR A IBD Overall A+ I'm seeing that it broke out (weekly chart) of a 52-week base last week and during that time the ratio of up weeks on high volume to down weeks is a healthy 2.2. I got problems with a few things. Institutional ownership: How can it be 99%? I got problems with management ownership: How can it be 4.2% if Institutional is 99%? Their growth (physical, not fiscal) prospects look great: 70 new stores next year. Their target market is growing: Kids of boomers (Need I say more?) Your input will be most valued. Thanks.
