      Lowe's (LOW) announced it would beat second quarter EPS estimates.
Consensus is .50 per share. The company raised EPS estimates to the range of
.53-.54 per share.


They earned 42 cents in Q2 last year (ends July), so a strong quarter after
a 52% earnings growth in Q1.
