MessageNews to me...their screen title says:

Up/Down Vol >=3D 1.0, EPS, RS Rating >=3D 80, Acc/Dis at least B-, Group =
RS at least A-, SMR =3D A

But, I'd bet that there's a raw score for SMR in their database in the =
same way there's a raw score for Group RS, etc. We non-paying peons have =
to live with ABCDE!

Here's a similar breakdown on Group RS, where all three numbers are =
derived from the same calculations:
