MessageMy perception is that all the numbers are correct.

Two variables not mentioned in the claims of ownership are:
1) what is the cut off date for making the determination ?
2) are the institutions which own shares as "insiders" included in the =
quoted numbers?

By varying the two categories, I am confident that all of the quoted =
numbers and additional values can be determined.

reliability. Anyone care to chime in, feel free, please.)

  Mike:

  I thought moneycentral's was better, 'cause that's where I got the 25% =
figure: =
http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/research/profile.asp?Symbol=3Dnfi =
(scroll down to "Statistics")

Go figure!?!? Same category, same source, totally different =
information.

I double-checked my data with Thomson Wealth Management, a research =
source through my broker, Harris Direct. They say 25.4% held by 18 =
Institutions. Quicken, too, shows 18 institutions at 25.4%. =20

    Hi Duke,

Beats me what the right answer is. Here's the link to Multex's =
Institutional Ownership page for NFI
    =
http://yahoo.marketguide.com/MGI/HoldersReport.asp?target=3D%2Fstocks%2Fc=
ompanyinformation%2Finstit%5Fowner&Ticker=3DNFI

When I get the new site finished, maybe I'll have some time to =
research a more reliable source of information. My long term goal is to =
get enough subscribers to be be able to afford an institutional quality =
database, in the meantime, I have to use free sources such as Multex.

Do you think moneycentral's data is any better? I just looked NFI up =
there and got the same answer

      Mike:

In research NFI, I got a conflict of data on Institutional =
Ownership. Three or four resources show 24 to 25%, yet the Evaluator =
shows 68%?

      Duke

Everybody should believe in something - I believe I'll have =
another glass of great wine!
