No knock on Ernie intended, I think the comment in the column referred more to 
trying to draw parallels between what might have happened one hundred years ago 
and what is happening now, cycles, trying to say that because it happened a few 
times it can happen again.  I think these economic events are each unique and can't 
be used as models of the present.
