Katherine:
Good, astute and relevant point (esp. considering the Mkt we are now
in).
It should be recalled that before the tech bubble, MSFT, ORCL, and AOL
were small-volume stocks. It should also be observed that generally all
successful-eventual high-volume stocks-start out as small-caps. This is a
point that WON reiterates time-and-time again. The question, then, becomes:
Which small stocks will wake up the Bear and lead the Bull? "N" in CANSLIM,
says it all, I believe. New Products, New Services; and New Highs on High
Volume will confirm the prospective success of the stock.
Ian also makes the same point: Follow the small-cap stock's Earnings,
the Growth Rate, and the Relative Difference in volume (when the stock rises
vs. when it falls).
