If you send me one of your data files, I can try to see what is wrong. It
is weird that it can open and read the data, but now count it.  I'll give
it a try

Michael- couldn't get it to work. Am using Office 2000 with files named
with the convention "SOD - Name 000000.xls". It builds the stock list but
never counts. Any suggestions?

Michael,

Just used the tool and wanted to say thanks for your efforts.  It
worked with no problems and the timing couldn't be better.  Just
yesterday I printed almost 30 days worth of "screen of the day"
planning to manually analyze them for repeating stocks.
