duke-I own a few shares of a company that might have a future with boomers
in healthcare. The symbol is ISPH. The company developed a prescription drug
to treat 'dry eye condition'. It has gotten stage III approval from the FDA
but not final approval to produce yet. If and when they get this they
expect to be to market in apx. 1 year. No competitive treatment except
surgery. I saw CEO on TV and she estimated it to be a 700 million dollar
market. The condition affects primarily older women. At present time apx.
10 million women have this problem-many more will develop it as the boomers
get older. It is not a canslim stock but it does have the N if nothing
else. Its about 3.50 a share now. In January it gapped way down because
it didn't get the 3rd stage approval, had to do more work -did it - and got
approval. It ran up to 16.00 a share in anticipation in Jan. If it
doesn't fall through the proverbial cracks I believe this stock could very
well become a canslim stock in the future. May want to watch if nothing
else. These are the kind of microcaps I try to find. Most canslim
stocks were like this at one time-struggled their way up -became the perfect
stock to buy on a breakout on heavy volume. More risk but potentially more
reward it the stars are aligned just right(smile) zillagirl
