Yup. I post this sort of thing 4-5 times a year on this forum because I have had a lot of requests for microcap ideas.

CRDN is one to watch for a sustained increase in volume, and a move back up above $9 (preferably $10.50) in order for the chart to clean up.

Periodically, I buy these early at strong historical support levels. But you are absolutely correct - this is not a CANSLIM stock right now - I'm usually 3-6 months early on these ones before they qualify.

Ian

May be a future candidate, but the chart looks awful now and the RS is far below CANSLIM requirements.

    Hi all:

A stock to watch for a significant uptick in trading volume in the coming weeks/months, is CRDN.

Ceradyne is a little microcap company that is about to experience a significant increase in revenues and EPS over the next 3-12 months. It has finally had its small arms body armour certified by the US military, and is in production, with orders in place: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/020712/120035_1.html

They had a hiccup with their original design, and the stock got whacked for it a few months ago. The new design beats spec and expecations, according to their PR. By my calculations, they will see a minimum 30-40% ramp in revenues, and should see a much larger ram in EPS by Q4.

This one fits my classic profile of a CANSLIM-in-the-making stock - it will probably not hit IBD radar until it hits $14 in the fall.

    We'll see.

    Ian
