The hardest abbreviation I have come across has been HMWWAWCIAWCCW How much
wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood :-)

"I believe they (abbreviations) are intended to impress"
I cannot fathom how anybody could ever be 'impressed' by the use of an
abbreviation. Abbreviations are intended to save time and typing strokes,
that is all. When I first joined this list I couldn't figure out about 50%
of the ones in common usage here. However, all I had to do was ask, and the
regulars would fill me in.
LLUR (Lower Left, Upper Right - referring to a steadily rising chart
pattern), was the biggest stumper for me.

Contrary to your point of viewr, I do not believe you are in charge of
this forum or in a position to decide what I or anyone else should address
in the way of subject matter. Moreover the abbreviation IBD is obviously
well known to all involved with this forum. O(n the other hand, the rest of
your abbreviations are not. That being the case they do not convey
information. Accordingly, I believe they are intended to impress. Moreover,
I'm not the least bit surprised that you took my remarks to be an attack on
youI. - little boy.
