Michael - - Thank you for your input. As a matter of interest I sold out of DOCC today when it had just over a %30 gain..I guess i got lucky for a change. Now I'm hanging in there with FRED (%15 up since my buy in last week.) However, FRED is to my mind more of a long term play. I didn't buy on any CANSLIM projections. It's a value stock that has been lost in the downdraft. I think I mentioned in this forum that as the stock was falling, FRED kept coming out with more and more good news, until it got to the point that the CEO (tongue in cheek) said that he didn't think the stock could stand much more good news from FRED. - ----- Original Message ----- From: <michael_niemotka@baxter.com> To: <canslim@lists.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, July 29, 2002 10:07 AM Subject: Re: [CANSLIM] Docc > > Just be careful in this M...I was up 17% on NCEN a couple of weeks back, > and rather than sell and lock the profits, I followed your logic (which is > what WON recommends too) and ended up selling at a 5% loss after it tanked. > It was a real lesson learned, and in my opinion, the best kind to instill > the need to lock in at least some profits when you have them, > > Good luck > > Mike Niemotka , PE > Sr. Principal Engineer > Baxter Healthcare Corporation > Route 120 & Wilson Road > Round Lake, IL 60073 > Tel (847) 270-4075 > Fax (847) 270-4525 > michael_niemotka@baxter.com > > > > "Donald Wallker" > <dougald@dmv.com> To: canslim@lists.xmission.com > Sent by: cc: > owner-canslim@lists.xm Subject: Re: [CANSLIM] Docc > ission.com > > > 07/27/2002 07:58 AM > Please respond to > canslim > > > > > > > Tom -It looks like you've made a more timely pick - congrats..
