MessageHi Duke,

You can do a rudimentary screening with a standard DGO report which =
lists the 2500 or so stocks contained in the print edition, as each =
Friday's report includes the stock's industry and GRS. If you want a =
fancier screening and/or you want to drill down to industry contents, =
you have to cough up the big bucks for the 2 additional services. (Which =
is completely insane, given that majority of the DGO features are now =
available for FREE on the IBD site.)

Nothing wrong with boilerplate, K. =20

Interesting to note, today's explosion was sector-wide, pretty much. =
(Maybe it's time for me to subscribe to DGO. As I recall, you can run =
your own industry screens, right?)

    Hi Duke,

The market "officially" made a FTD today, but the point that WON =
made was that you can't have a strong bull market with only a few =
leading stocks such as AZO. That may be boilerplate, but an important =
element of WON's discipline. I think the comments in tomorrow's "Big =
Picture" are equally as cautious.

He did make a point which has been made several times in the IBD =
lately, and that is that the obvious leaders at this point are consumer =
stocks and are very unlikely to be the fallen angel tech stocks of the =
last Bull. Wise advise, as the uninitiated will be jumping on the old =
leaders while the smart folks will be following new leadership to decent =
gains.

The only thing I learned from this show tonight is Autozone (I =
don't have a position yet) is one hell of a company and possibly the =
"model" for tomorrow's winners. And Bill O'Neil pretty much brushed =
them off, answering a question about Autozone with his "there are no =
apparent new leaders" mantra.

For those of you who did not see the show tonight, you missed =
nothing from Bill. He just towed the usual CANSLIM Investors Corner =
line. And obviously, no call on whether or not today was an FTD. That =
remains to be called after (way after?) the fact...as usual.

      Duke
