Gene,

I am recalling this from memory but the IBD numbers used to be more accurate
when I was working closely with the numbers. Whether this is the case now, I
don't know.

Ann, found the data.... my notes highlight that Morningstar only 'counts'
funds in their numbers and not banks, etc. I believe that banks' are to be
counted. I attached the file with AM* column.... added.

    Gene,

What do you mean about Morningstar? I am trying to figure out where to
hunt for fundamental info, and I was hoping they were a good source, because
all the info is right there. Also, they show the Q earnings as compared with
the previous Q last year (%).

    Are they not reliable?

I'm trying to determine 'the' benchmark data supplier for
institutional ownership. My attached spreadsheet is a sample of companies
and the % owned by institutions:

      DGO: DailyGraphs
      QP2: QuotesPlus
      NASDAQ: NASDAQ.com
      MSN: Money Central

DGO stands out as being very different. I'm trying to determine if it
(DGO) is any good AND if there are other good sources for this data
(Morningstar is in another world).

      regards,
      Gene
