Hi. I've posted here a few times last year but not in a long time. Many of
the stocks on my watchlist are getting close to buyable and if M breaks
upward we may be starting a CANSLIM market. I guess it is time to limber up
my CANSLIM muscles - so to speak.

I completely recommend the AAII Stock Investor Pro (SIP) tool/subscription
for those interested in the numbers behind the IBD rankings. The free
MarketGuide data is a small subset of the data provided by SIP (MarketGuide
sells the data to AAII) and contains much more data than DGO for less than
half the cost. Another link to the tool is at the
http://www.aaii.com/stinvstr/intro/sipro.shtml site that provides a good
description of the tool. If anyone subscribes and needs some tips on
creating and exchanging formulas, I have figured a number of things out that
are not obvious and will share what I know.

One thing I've noticed from reviewing the raw data for the past year and a
half is that the fundamentals are beginning to show growth again. Two
quarters ago I may have had one or two stocks that could be called true
CANSLIM. Last quarter I found about five. After this last earnings season I
have at least 25 that I consider CANSLIM with accelerating growth. Unless
something bad happens I expect the fundies to provide a CANSLIM environment
between now and the end of next earnings season.
