Disclaimer- I am not associated with ThomsonFN's I-Watch service or if I = am they are severely underpaying me. Now- a few days ago St. Katherine (;->) mentioned a service from = ThomsonFN which tracks institutional buy/sell interest throughout the = day. Truly, an amazing service. And I agree it is a great barometer for = would be stock purchases. However, how could one use this service as a = stock/industry screener BEFORE finding would be stock picks? I would think you would look for industry's showing heavy "Buy Super = Messages" and "Buy Interest Messages" and stay away from industry's = scoring a "Sell Super Messages" and "Sell Interest Messages". However, = if you'll notice from today's I-Watch (snapshot: = <http://www.kellyrshort.com/canslim/ThomsonFN_I_Watch_091102.pdf>) = industry's with heavy buy interest are usually accompanied by equally = large sell interest. Is this a function of supply and demand or should = one focus on the industries that truly have larger buy interest than = sell interest (even those these industries usually pale in comparison on = volume to the hot industries)? Or, a second option, am I totally = off-base and should not be using these charts for this purpose?=20 - - - -To subscribe/unsubscribe, email "majordomo@xmission.com" - -In the email body, write "subscribe canslim" or - -"unsubscribe canslim".
