I see the chart short term (since it's high of 20.40 on 5/15/02) as a weak
and repeated double bottom. The first "W" failed to clear the midpoint when
it rose on the right side. The second half of that "W" then became the first
half of another "W", but this time the second downleg failed to undercut the
first leg (which was the second leg of the first "W"). In other more simpler
words (it's pretty late, and it was a mentally and physically exhausting 14
hour non-stop day, so forgive the incoherence), one double bottom is failing
into a second bottom, and neither one gives me confidence of a rally or
breakout, much less any long term positive results. If you try to look at it
as an overall continuous pattern (e.g. a triple bottom), it also appears
weak and unconfirming any sustained move to the upside.
