guess I will have to stop selling my winners when they hit $750 million =
now, and let them run their full course to two billion.

And yes, I think if you remember why small caps have been periodically =
favored (entrepreneurial, rapid growth of sales and earnings, small # of =
shares outstanding, large management ownership, smaller float, low debt, =
focused on a very limited line of business), then it's hard to see a two =
billion dollar company still meeting these criteria.

Bravo, Fred!

And, Tom, don't you think that this is a HUGE range to be considered =
"small cap"? I suppose I wish in my wildest dreams that I used a =
"small cap" trading account with a range anywhere from $300 million to =
$2billion. Of course, I would like to be at the top of the range!!!

Alicia, good thing I didn't bet on the size, guess I am showing my =
age. I never would have considered a $2 billion market cap as a "small" =
cap. I stop my search for small / micro (and now I see there is a "nano =
cap") cap stocks about the $650 to max $750 million level.

What is generally considered to be the mkt cap range on small caps =
and also on mid caps?
