I will bet a cup of Starbucks (SBUX) best, against a dozen Krispy Kreme
(KKD) glazed hot off the rack, that by the time the inspection teams are
ready to deploy, conditions will have been imposed by Saddam.

Since both items were discussed today here, an update - Iraq has reportedly
agreed
to accept weapons inspectors without conditions (we'll see), and the S&P
futures,
which closed at around 892, are now trading up 19 points at 911, a very
large move.

I'm not sure if this will carry over into tomorrow's trading, but a good
demonstration
of the futures in action and what sort of reaction the market had to news
that means
a possible avoidance of war.
