Today also shows which is more powerful, fear of war with Iraq (positive
news yesterday which drove futures up 1%), or fear of a weakening / failing
economy (industrial production fell for the first time in 7 months, reported
this morning).

Hi Warren,

I noticed that all the A&D stocks gapped down at the open today and I
suspect it was a knee-jerk reaction to the news with Iraq. Many of them
appear to be inching up toward their high, however, so would guess that A&D
will continue it's current uptrend. For the most part, however, the market
as a whole seems inclined to continue it's larger downtrend--shorts are
chomping at the bit and this is an ideal spot to add to positions as stocks
pullback to their downtrends and post yet another lower high before rolling
over again. Bad news for CANSLIM long strategies for the moment.
