It depends on if you want the relative strength index (against the S&P 500) or the Relative Strength Ranking (against all other stocks in IBD's database). You will not be able to duplicate the RS ranking exactly (I've tried) because you won't be able to match their stocks exactly. But you should be able to calculate the RS index which is described here http://www.equis.com/Education/TAAZ/?page=100. Good luck. Hi all, Sorry if this question has been asked before. I am using QP, and I know that it computes RS differently than IBD. Does anyone know how IBD compute RS? The reason for this question is that I'd like to use IBD calculation as a filter in my QP scan. - -Quan quan@sbcglobal.net ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Income tax has made more liars out of the American people than golf. - Will Rogers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - - -To subscribe/unsubscribe, email "majordomo@xmission.com" - -In the email body, write "subscribe canslim" or - -"unsubscribe canslim".
