Speaking of dogs, take a look at the $SOX index, its at a 4 year (47 month to be 
precise) low.   The Vix is also pretty high, looking at several years of data, it hasn't 
remained at such a high level for a duration of more than a few weeks at a time, so 
a bounce is probably due here.
