Hi Elmer,

As noted in the comments on the spreadsheet:
"If you prefer stocks with CANSLIM recommended minimum prices ($12-$15), =
simply filter for Price >=3D12 and ignore the rest."

There are many measures of liquidity, avg daily volume being only one of =
many. WON prefers stocks >=3D$15 and >=3D200,000 avg daily volume. For =
the most part, institutions prefer >=3D$10 per share.

While you may prefer to stick to WON's personal guidelines, others find =
minimums with which they feel comfortable. For some, the "dip down" into =
lower prices and liquidity is simply a means to monitor the up and =
comers. For others it is prime hunting territory.=20

By the way, the "hunting list" is my own, offered up for those who wish =
to use it and is not officially sanctioned by WON or IBD. You'll find =
that each person has their own personal way of hunting for CANSLIM =
quality stocks. I prefer to look at forward growth rates and bare bones =
minimum technicals including RS and price in relationship to 50 and 200 =
day moving averages as "hunting territory." Others prefer to start only =
with stocks meeting particular fundamental characteristics, others =
prefer only stocks in leading industries, others prefer utilizing =
minimum EPS and SMR rankings, etc. The list goes on..... bottom line is =
that "hunting" or "mining" is merely a starting point, but where you =
start is sometimes the most important step you take on the road to =
selecting and purchasing candidates.

In order to make it to the list, the stock had to have a forward =
growth rate of at least 15%, Price at least 6, Avg Daily Vol at least =
30K, RS at least 60, no more than 15% below the 50 day SMA, and at or =
above the 200 day SMA. This is what I consider to be "bare bones" =
requirements for CANSLIM quality stocks.

I'm confused with the price and avg daily volume numbers. They don't =
match what I learned from the HTMMIS and IBD. Is this modified Can Slim?
