The Far Eastern and European markets continue to feed off the NY slump and are all in the red as I write this. US consumer confidence will probably drop for the 4th month in a row, and the Fed is expected to not change interest rates. Mutual stock fund outflows are probably increasing. All in all, not a pretty picture for today's opening. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---- Fred Richards - -----Original Message----- From: owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com [mailto:owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com]On Behalf Of Tom Worley Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 7:42 PM To: CANSLIM Subject: [CANSLIM] "M" Well, NASDOG, I mean NASDAQ, managed to do it. Not only traded to a new low under the one set 8/5/02, it also managed to close nearly at the low of the day. It had company, tho, with the Naz 100 doing the same thing. The Russell 2000 didn't quite beat its 7/24 low on an intraday basis, but sure managed to take it out on a closing price basis. The rest of the major indexes look like they need a few more days of catch up, but are headed in the same direction. Will be interesting to see what the Feds say tomorrow.
