Yes, Japan Nikkei is 19 years low, Nasdaq 6 and Doe 5 year low now. It
will take another generation to reach to new highs again.

OOPS!!! That did it, maybe. Japan's NIKKEI Index down 265 points (3.11%)
at
their midday break on Thursday (Japanese time). Index now at 8,273, well
under the 8,500 they were fearing could start toppling some of the banks
due
diminished capital holdings in their stock portfolios. I have no clue
how
long the effect may take, if at all, as I am still not sure if they yet
have
to mark to market daily (I think I recall reading that the deadline for
last
fall kept getting postponed so they would not have to recognize their
"paper" losses any more than they yet have to acknowledge their "bad"
loans).
