Thanks for the generous praise from many of you for the chart facility. It's very rewarding to hear your appreciation. However,
while I'm happy take the technical credit, it's Katherine who deserves the praise for the content and inspiration. Shower her with
bouquets!
There is more to do by way of adding information to the charts, and providing a weekly version too, but these improvements will only
come slowly. Unfortunately, this project doesn't go anywhere close to providing sufficient income, so I divide my time between this,
which is almost a hobby, and more remunerative endeavors. Anyone running a vacation rental business? If so, do I have a product for
you!
It is certainly not my objective to try to compete with DGO, I don't have the data resources or staff necessary to maintain a
database of "industrial strength" quality. My goal is only to provide tools in support of the main objective of my site, which is to
find quality stocks that are setup for a possible breakout. To that end, the tools and their quality and number will continue to
improve, but somewhat slowly, alas, until this, or the market, becomes a viable source of income.

Thank you to both Mike and Katherine for this! And, especially thank you for making it as mac-friendly as windows. That may have
been inadvertent, planned, or just good programming, but it is. With DGO, the only way to access the charts is through an emulation
window and holding down the ctrl key while doing other things. With your chart the info I want to see just pops up. It's terrific.

Hi Nancy,
The great thing about capitalism is that when a company like DGO becomes big brotheresque, lurking about a private email
discussion list and sending threatening letters to individual subscribers to their service, there are always alternatives. As a
result of the infamous FedEx letter, I have had to remove all of my previous annotated DGO charts from the CANSLIM site. Luckily,
Mike Gibbons was willing to come to the rescue, offering to develop a chart to my specifications. I'm pleased as punch with the
results and now have a far better tool that what I had with DGO. My next goal will be to replace DGO altogether.

Katherine-thanks so much for still doing your charts. I was gone and missed a lot, but know you had trouble with IBD and I was
afraid you would stop teaching with the charts. Glad to see you are continuing-it really helps me a lot to understand chart reading.

In today's IBD , in the real most active, they talk about UNH and how is
closed just below the $97.99 pivot point, but looking at the daily graph, I
don't see a day where it had a high of $97.89 and I am hard pressed to call
it anything but a flat base. Any thoughts?
