Haven't seen anyone commenting yet on this, so will jump in.

For me, 10/10 is counted as the trend reversal day, and yesterday,
10/17, as the FTD as both volume and price appear to meet the criteria,
and also fall into the 4-7 day window (I think someone mentioned IBD
thinks last Tuesday was the FTD but that seems too early for me). I see
strength in that all major indexes, and many minor ones, all reversed
the short term trend on the same day, as well as followed thru the same
day.

For those observing the double bottom ("W") pattern on the indexes, and
waiting for the center point of the W to be surpassed, they obviously
still have a way to go before entering the market.

Any other thoughts?
