I didn't mean to say that there was no inflation, just that the rate of inflation is relatively low. According to the BLS (which one could choose to distrust, of course, or argue,validly, that it its not a representative number) the overall increase in the CPI over the last 12 months for all cities was 1.5% while the increase in medical care was 4.6%.
