any suggestions from the group as to which indexes best measure the
performance of a small cap information technology growth fund? I am looking
for an index that collectively includes each specific element, that is
"small cap", "IT or at least technology", and "growth".

I am also looking for a free source where I can download about 16 months of
closing values on a number of indexes, including the Dow 30, Naz Comp, NYSE
Comp, S&P 400 and 600, and Russell 2000. Daily or weekly (as of Friday) is
fine.
