That *is* amazing.  It's been 15 years since I tried Christmas shopping
in the LA Basin (Orange County) but by now you'd be lucky to find a
parking spot in any mall and it was a 15-minute line just to pay at any
store if you could butt your way into the store at all.  YUCK!!  Turned 
me into a genuine Scrooge/Grinch it did!
