Jeff,

Here is what can be done. 

Go to finance.yahoo.com, then click on the "S&P 500" link (top left). 

Once you get the quote for it, look for a "Historical Data" link. Put
in the 20 years or whatever you want for the data length and then click
"Get Data". 

On the page that is presented to you, you should see (at the bottom) a
link for "Download Spreadsheet Format". That will get you the data.

Hello Fellow Canslim'rs,

Does anyone know where I can download daily prices for the S&P 500 for
the past 20 years?  Or, can someone send them to me (legally)?
