This is a multi-part message in MIME format. - ------=_NextPart_000_0000_01C2B166.57B2A060 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Happy New Year to each and every one! Following a disappointing third year in a row on the downside, most economists and Wall St. prognosticators are suggesting that this economy will rally in the second half of 2003. Oh where, oh where, have we heard that refrain before? - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---- We have updated the charts for the A rated Accumulate/Distribution rankings from IBD through yesterday. They are available at: http://www.adrich.com/SI/Info/A's.htm Here's wishing each of you a year of such success in investing using the information in IBD, DGO, and eIBD that the question of cost vanishes from your mind and that you can concentrate on things of importance like how to make money. Forgive me, if I think that all the discussion about the cost side of the equation reminds me of the same mentality that all those CEO's and Board of Directors have adopted that cost-savings and employee layoffs are the route to improved bottom lines. Their strategy is nothing but a short-term fix and does nothing to solve the long-term problem. I guess that I belong to another school . . . innovate to create market and product demand, and provide the best service to your customer. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---- I am reminded of a thought one of my mentors said: You must think big, dream big, and take big risks to make big profits! Those who don't are never going to be big winners! Fred Richards Corruptisima republica plurimae leges.
