Hi Christian, some meandering thoughts (I am pretty brain dead at this hour and another 16 or so hour day). establish a watch list, mark the ones that you think are "hot" remember it's still a bear market and "M" is frowning set up a dummy or paper portfolio remember it's still a bear market and "M" is frowning, so don't expect great results if you must really spend some real money to feel like you are investing, buy a couple shares, max of 100 remember it's still a bear market and "M" is frowning act and think like you are committing a million dollars, do your due diligence accordingly remember it's still a bear market and "M" is frowning, keep a tight discipline especially on the selling rules post your ideas on what you are buying, holding or selling, and express your thinking, encourage feedback remember it's still a bear market and "M" is frowning, lots of members are not actively participating in the group right now smile a lot, like you know what you are doing, especially if you are making any money at investing right now (very few are) remember it's still a bear market and "M" is frowning, but it's a great time to be learning - ----- Original Message ----- From: <CEWALD@sbcglobal.net> To: <canslim@lists.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 22, 2003 1:19 PM Subject: [CANSLIM] New to the group Hello all, I wanted to thank all of you for helping out in my quest to learn more about CANSLIM investing in the market. I have especially learned a great deal more since joining this group (joined a couple of months ago), but still feel like an amateur compared to most of you and am still a little reluctant in asking questions. Instead, I'll ask for advice. What would most or some of you recommend as a good way to learn more about the market and more importantly becoming more confident in investing?
