Hello Spencer, I wonder if you know the date of this Investors Corner. I
would like to find it and re-read it.
Thank you,
Mark

Christian:
I analyze stocks this way: I first look at fundamentals, and if they
pass WON's tests (esp. Earnings, Sales, ROE), I then look at the chart. If
the stock is forming a base or is about to Break Out and the RS line looks
steepish or is in a strong divergence (for example, I compare the RS line on
the left lip with the RS line it on the right lip) I put the stock on a
stock
list of stocks to watch.
Then I will analyze it more thoroughly using some technicals indicators
(such as rate of change, MACD or Stoch (depending on if I think the stock is
in a trend or not). If everything looks favorable, I will wait till the
stock Breaks Out, and then will buy it.
Katherine, I believe, is on the mark. And this is something I wish
that
I would remember (as easily as remembering that my left hand is on my left):
Check the leading stocks in the leading industries (a recent investors
corner
noted how to find leading stocks in leading industries). If this were a
perfect world, I would do this before analyzing the technical indicators;
however, as I said, sometimes I forget.
Leading stocks in leading industries are reliable guidepost as to
telling if one should sell, and also if one should buy.
