jans,
Timeliness is a proprietary formula at DGO (combines both price and earnings
changes, among other things), so the mechanics of it are secret. I have
always found it to be a nearly useless lagging indicator, and typically I
only look at it when I first stumble across a new stock. Thereafter I
monitor the Up/Down Ratio if it still interests me.

rc:
AMI does look as if it has broken out of a flat base that had extended
back to June/02. And its funamentals look nice also. The number of funds
that have bought it has nearly quintupled in the last 9 months.
What I don't understand, though, is: 1) With the stock doing as well
as
it is, why does DGO rate its "timeliness" as merely a "C". 2) DGO says that
management owns only 4% of the stock. But the float is only about 20% of
the
stock outstanding. So who owns this 80+% if not the mgt.?
Tom! Any ideas?
