As we know, many times stocks move with the general trend of the market as
a whole.  That being said, do any of you use the RS line to decide on
closing a position?

As an example, GRMN has been underperforming the market as a whole the last
couple of weeks, and I am wondering if I should use this action (or lack
thereof) to close out BEFORE reaching the 7-8% loss rule.  In fact today,
with the dow up 142, GRMN is down 0.31%.

Any thoughts?
