Hi Tomas, When a stock breaks out out of a well formed base on volume, the B/O is considered valid. The reason for the B/O doesn't matter, as the technicals are telling you the stock is ready to rock and roll. As to earnings releases, I've had some excellent winners over the years after buying a stock gapping up and breaking out of its base on the earnings release day. In a couple of cases, the gap up forced me to buy the stock at slightly more than the 5% above the pivot threshold, but this has never deterred me. The one thing you want to be sure to do is have the stock *already* in view before the earnings release and then be ready to pounce on the stock the minute it breaks out. That can make the difference between buying something at 4.9% above the pivot vs 10% above the pivot if it gaps up. It has a 16.47 CE score, the highest score I have ever seen so far. So, fundies is excellent. Just release earnings today. If a BO is on the earnings report day, does that still count as a BO? Charts looks good with a downward handle. Anyone has comments on this stock? tomas __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
