I see where you coming from.  However, if the handle
is 5/5 - 5/21, that handle is below the mid-way of the
cup depth.  That would be a bad characteristic for a
handle.

For that handle, the pivot point is $14 on 5/15.  You
are correct, it is the highest intraday price.
