Hi, Fred:
Yes, the odds are very good that inflation lies ahead. I truly =
believe that our esteemed, beloved, and powerful [all meant in a =
sarcastic way] President will figure a way to keep the market generally =
horizontal if not vertical. Perhaps he will continue his "Crusade" [his =
word, not mine] with two or three more wars with Mid-East states so that =
all of our citizens have good jobs manufacturing munitions. Or perhaps =
once he knows that no-one besides us has any "weapons of mass =
destruction" our country will start selling them overseas to make up =
some of the deficit. And since so much of our manufacturing continues =
to move overseas, he may simply deport every citizen under the poverty =
line to Uzbeckistan so that he can honestly say everyone in the US is =
financially well off under his presidency. And obviously, he knows the =
country can't run out of cash because he just prints more. I guess =
eventually it'll take 90 billion to buy a loaf of bread.....

The U.S. Treasury announced an as-expected budget deficit of $90.5 =
billion in May. Year-to-date, the budget deficit stands at $292.1 =
billion vs. $145.4 billion in the year-ago period. Both individual and =
corporate tax receipts are sharply lower than a year ago, reflecting =
declining payrolls and soft business conditions. Government spending is =
high, especially for defense and Medicare.
=20

=20
Wonder how long it will take the foreign investors to panic? And when =
they do, will the market continue on its way up?
