Hongshu, I am assuming that you are referring to my email. For me itemized = deductions make sense. I am able to rake up approx $30,000 in total = dedudctions. The big ones are mortgage interest, charitable contributions, = taxes and dependents. Pritish >>> honghsu@bellatlantic.net 07/22/03 11:10PM >>> Gene and Mike, I got a dumb question. Even you can put IBD subscription and=20 breakoutwatch.com online service fee into Schedule A as investor, is it=20 worth to give up Standard Deduction? For married filling jointly, the=20 standard deduction is $7,850. Can you put partial of your mortgage or=20 rent onto Schedule A as investment expenses? If not, what is big=20 chunk of miscellaneous itemized deduction? =20 I have no intention to knowing your expenses. I am just curious is it=20 worth to use Schedule A. I maybe wrong. - -Hong - - - -To subscribe/unsubscribe, email "majordomo@xmission.com" - -In the email body, write "subscribe canslim" or - -"unsubscribe canslim".
