MessageHi Yien,

As mortgage interest rates began to creep up, stocks in the mortgage
refinancing business sold off hard. EELN belongs to this group and sector
as does LEND, NTBK and several others.

The perception is that the mortgage refinancing business will slow, and
therefore, profits will fall for these businesses. EELN sold off hard for
two days in a row, first on the uptick in mortgage rates, and then because
of an underperform by an investment banking analyst.

Fundamentally, EELN is a great stock, but technically it is a broken stock,
at least for now. Management did lift guidance for the year, so we shall
see if magagment has a better feel for their own business than an analyst
for an investment banking firm.

I my be a cynic, but the analyst probably had his clients dump their stock
before he issued the warning, and then bought back in after EELN collapsed
50% from its high. EELN has a float of 32 millon shares, and around 20
million of those shares traded during the past two days. It is possible
that most of the sellers are now out of it, and if so, it should begin to
rebase here.

Ron

  Hi,

I am new the CANSLIM methodology. I am trying to branch away from my old
way of thinking (value investing) because it was simply not working out for
me.

I would like to know what is your take on E-Loans (EELN). This stock has
been making explosive earnings for the past 7 quarters but yet fell for two
consecutive days on high volume.

  Thanks
  Yien
