Gene, I was afraid someone would ask that! With HITK I'd be using my =
small cap rules and with a double or better I'd take half off. I'd also =
pin the earning date on my monitor and take some profits prior to =
earnings release, especially if it's going up before the release. =
Anyhow, after the high of 49.9 you had an hi vol drop with a low volume =
rally that's a good time. The dagger would've been on the drop from 41 =
to 32 or so. A more aggressive sell would have been to sell as it was =
approaching 40 on low volume.
OSTE had what appeared to be a climax run at 14 and another at 16, the =
14 was the best time, note you can lock in partial profits this way and =
worry less.

Hi Pete, when and why should these 2 stocks have been sold 'from a =
CANSLIM point of view'?
Thanks in advance,
Gene

IMHO, from a CANSLIM point of view point of view both of these =
stocks (HITK
and OSTE) should have been sold already. And, I'd be watching for =
them to
form a new base and bought when they break out again A double =
bottom base
would provide a nice entry pattern (since it gives the lowest entry =
point)
but this does not appear to be in the works.
