I was using a moving stop-- I still made money I just hit my exits when I knew the day before their was a high chance. That's all. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com [mailto:owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Jeff Henderson Sent: Friday, August 22, 2003 5:31 PM To: canslim@lists.xmission.com Subject: [CANSLIM] about the market Yesterday and the day before, I got the feeling that the market was overpriced and would be coming back down. Today all my stocks dropped and 3 of my stocks hit their exits (I exited) should I have gone on instinct and exited yesterday or did I do the right thing by sticking to my system? - -----Original Message----- From: owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com [mailto:owner-canslim@lists.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Yien T Lung Sent: Friday, August 22, 2003 1:44 PM To: canslim@lists.xmission.com Subject: [CANSLIM] When to Sit and Wait and when to Sell Hi people, From your experience, what do you guys do to a stock that has BO, but has not moved much or even come back to its original pivot point. I remember Jesse Livermore saying that it was much more profitable to ride on your trade than to cut your gains after a certain percentage gain. In other words, what kind of criterias to look in order to tell if the stock you bought is a winner - so stick with it, or a dog - sell it or even go short? thanks Yien - - - -To subscribe/unsubscribe, email "majordomo@xmission.com" - -In the email body, write "subscribe canslim" or - -"unsubscribe canslim".
