I recently bought a new house. As part of the loan approval process,
my lender wanted current statements faxed to them.

I called Janus. No problem.
I called American Century. No problem.
I called Fidelity. No problem.
I called Norwest. No problem.

I called Strong. Oops. Wait. Even after I verified my identity
with my address, SSN, wife's name and SSN, Strong wouldn't fax a
statement to my lender without a written statement signed by both
my wife and I! Security, don't cha know.

Having closed and moved, I started calling in address changes.

I called Janus. No problem.
I called American Century. No problem.
I called Fidelity. No problem.
I called Norwest. No problem.

I called Strong. Another problem. They need a written request to
change my address. They can take a change over the phone, but will
also put a 30 DAY FREEZE on my assets if the address change is done
this way.

Thanks for being so flexible, Strong. You're about to lose a customer.

Steamed,
Jeff Morgan
Last night I was laying there looking up at the stars,
and I thought.... Hey! Where's my ceiling?!
