I have a friend that is in the following situation and needs some
advice.
She's about to retire and she's thinking about converting her 401k
into two new investments. She wants to roll 50% of her 401k into an
investment that will produce interest and allow for monthly payments.
She would like to invest the other 50% in something safe (with the
highest interest possible).
Another option is to leave the money in the 401k, but she doesn't
trust the fund.
What are her options? Any advice?
