Can you stand to loose a small amount of your money
deposited or gain a small amount of your money deposited
if you make an early withdrawal. If your answer is yes,
buy bonds issued by the U.S. government. They come in
many forms. Their interest rate is more than 3.12 percent.
I think they are safer than FDIC account. What happens if
the FDIC runs out of money. U.S. Bonds are direct
obligations of the U.S. Government. Also there is no
$100,000 limit to the amount you can buy. If you don't
sell the bonds before they mature, you will get all of your
money back and collect all the interest you are due at the
rate stated on the bonds. =

                                   =

If interest rates go down, your bonds will be worth more
than the face value and you could sell them and make a
profit. =
