Hello everyone,

I have eliminated the digest version of persfin. All subscribers of the
digest version of persfin have been moved to the "regular" version of
persfin. The reasons I made this change are:

1) Up until now, I have not allowed people to post non-text information
to the persfin group (HTML, graphs, charts, etc.) The reason for this
restriction is that any non-text information is completely illegible to
our digest subscribers. However, these visually rich postings come
through just fine to the "regular" posting. I think it may be time to
allow these non-text, rich postings. It will add a lot to the
discussion.

2) The main purpose of the digest version is to prevent people from
having dozens of messages strewn about in their inbox. However, I
suspect that there is not a person on this list who's mail program
will not easily let them create a filter to automatically direct all
persfin messages in their own folder the instant you receive them. I
use Netscape mailer and it is a piece of cake to do this. Doing this,
your inbox is kept clear, and you are free to click on your local
"persfin" folder and sort and read the messages however suits you.

Best Regards,

Jeff - persfin admin/owner
