I am unclear as to how the wash sale rule works on the U.S. 1040.


Scenario:
Jul 1 - Stock bought for $16
Aug 1 - Stock sold for $14
Aug 7 - Stock bought back for $13
Dec 3 - Stock sold for $21

How do I treat this?
