MARK J. SLETTEN  Mark J. Sletten is a Branch Broker for Prudential Real Estate and in partnership with his wife Robin, specializes in real estate brokerage in the Deer Valley, Park Meadows, Old Town and Thaynes areas of Park City, in addition to The Canyons resort and the Jordanelle area of Wasatch County. Mark represents sellers and developer/owners and brings a “project” marketing and sales approach to single family homes, condominiums and developments. He obtained a real estate agent’s license in 1971, his broker’s license in 1973 and has been active in the real estate industry ever since.

Mark is a member of the Masters of Professional Achievement, which recognizes long-term “outstanding sales achievement to Realtor members of the Park City Board of Realtors.” He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, The Realtor’s Land Institute, the American Resort Developers Association, Lambda Alpha International (an honorary land economics society) and the Real Estate Investment Association. He has spoken nationally on a variety of real estate topics and by invitation has testified before Congress on real estate issues (on behalf of the National Association of Realtors and the Real Estate Investment Association).

In 1990 Mark was national President of the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute (RESSI) an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. In 1992 he was national President of the Real Estate Investment Association. He was awarded the Specialist in Real Estate Securities (SRS) designation by RESSI, and the Specialist in Real Estate Investment (SRI) designation by the Real Estate Investment Association. He is also a recipient of the RESSI Burton E. Smith Award for Distinguished Service.

Mark received a BA from Southern Oregon University, and a MBA (with Distinction) from Pepperdine University. He is 52 years of age and resides with his wife and daughter in Park City.
